Welcome to Tokoroa Welding. We are an engineering business that deals mainly with agricultural repairs in the South Waikato. While the bulk of what we do is repairs and maintance, we also do a fair bit of equipment and structural custom design, building and modification. 2007 & 2008 has seen some of our designs become reality as we began building our own equipment such as the road legal Bridson quickhitch, side delivery feedout wagon, and tip trailer. We are certified welders for 4711 welding, which is a NZ standard. Tokoroa Welding is a husband and wife partnership run by Peter & Kathy Bridson. Current News

01/07/2010 - 46 Browning is now our new and permanent home! We've purchased the property and inhabit the front half, while Crawford Logging has the rear. It feels great to be in our own place.

Two of the Bridson Design Layer Mixer feedout wagons are currently in use, as well as our first heavy duty tip trailer. While several small problems have come up & been addressed, no design flaws have become apparent and the equipment works well to date. Many thanks to the McLennans and the Blakes who took the risk of buying newly designed equipment.

There is currently greater enforcement of the 2004 law about safety chains and we are concerned farmers aren't generally aware of their legal obligation to have a safety chain fitted permanently to drawbars of implements taken on the road. If you need to have safety chains fitted, we can supply all necessary chain & fittings.
